How often do I need to refill the dry food container?
The exact time definitely depends on the daily food intake of your pet(s). But for Munchy 1.0, the food container needs to be refilled an average of once every 40 days, and for Munchy 2.0, an average of once every 30 days.
How does Munchy affect my pet's health?
Free feeding is the main cause of obesity in pets today, which in turn increases the risk of heart and kidney diseases and diabetes, and also puts a lot of pressure on bones and joints on a daily basis. Instead of offering your pet an endless amount of dry food on a daily basis, it is better to control the pet's food intake. There are pet owners who also know this and, thanks to this, feed their cats twice a day - one meal in the morning and one meal in the evening. However, scientists have studied cats living in the wild and found that, typical of the species, they eat almost 5 times a day. Cats' small stomachs and digestive systems are adapted to digest smaller amounts of food at a time. As a result, it is recommended to feed cats in small portions 5 times a day at home - this helps to optimize digestion, prevent gastrointestinal problems and keep the energy level stable. What is the difference between Munchy 1.0 and Munchy 2.0 automatic feeder?
Munchy 1.0 single bowl automatic feeder suitable for one furry pet. Munchy 2.0 is an automatic feeder with two bowls, which is suitable for two furry pets who eat the same food in similar amounts every day.
